Iâ€™m so disappointed in this book. There are only about 60 pages of color in this 368 page book! The recipes donâ€™t look appealing because the pictures are in black, gray and white. It looks like you are reading a newspaper. Donâ€™t order it. Spend your money on a book that offers recipes with pictures of what your food should look like.

I have many years of Southern living cookbooks. Boy they were certainly trying to save money this year. I first opened the cookbook & saw the beautiful color pictures as they normally have. After going thru those I came upon cheap paper print with black & white photos of the recipe dish. What a disappointment !!! I know in a few years the cheap paper they used with start to yellow. There older cookbooks all gave glossy paper. Just a disappointment so I am returning the cookbook. Guess I will be getting another annual cookbook from another magazine who is still doing quality printed cookbook

Well I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing. The cover was printed upside down and the back cover was the front of the book. Thank goodness it had a paper jacket. The quality of the paper is very cheap. Mostly black and white photos. Sections of color photos. But to me they looked dated. Not recent photographs. Just very poor quality overall. FirstCooking Light went under, then Coastal living, I wouldnâ€™t be surprised if Southern Living fails as well.

This has always been my favorite cookbook and I look forward to it each year, I have been collecting the Southern Living Annual Recipe cookbook since 1988. But the graphics and paper quality is very cheap. Black and white photos are not what I paid for or expected. This may be my last purchase of this cookbook. Taste of Home Annual Cookbook may become my new favorite.

I bought this as a Christmas gift and was really disappointed since it was a hardback. All of the pages on the inside were like paper pages you would see in a paperback and they were all in black and white with hardly any pics!! I would not recommend or buy again.

Tonight is the first time I have looked @ my Southern Living 2018 cookbook. Upon opening the book, I discovered it is upside down.

I've added yet another SL annual cookbook to my collection (since 1979). Though recipes can be found on line, it's great to have my own copy of this particular cookbook. I often try recipes from this collection.

Love collecting the Annual Southern Living Recipes cookbook. Always enjoy looking through for new recipes and tips. I would like more color photos but understand that would increase the cost!
