Our 4 year old Star Wars fan loves this book. It's full of characters and vehicles with info and details about them. The pictures are large and info is basic, which is great for younger fans.
The amazing world of Star Wars is a excellent book packed with big bold pictures of the heroes and villains of the saga. Not to mention all the spaceships and vehicles and droids as well. Highly recommended
My son lives this book. Good for fans of the original trilogy, and the newer!
if you are a hard-core star wars fan, do not buy this book! LOL, I am not a true Star Wars fan. I do not know the backstorys, the lore, or any of the important little details. So I innocently bought this book for our 3 1/2 year-old son. As my husband was reading it to him, he freaked out! Don't get me wrong, the pictures are amazing, and the fold out aspect is AWSOME. It is a great LOOKING book. but apparently about 85% of it's facts are inaccurate/misleading! One or two would be excusable. But to have 85% of its content WRONG, one would almost think the editors did it on purpose! lol. (some examples; Mace windu was not a calm Jedi as the book states, but rather a Jedi who is passionate enough to almost have gone over to the Darkside. The book claims light sabers are powered by colored crystals, which bothered my husband because "Kaiser crystals" are the precise name, and they are clear. I thought this was nitpicking a little, until some of the specific guns are named. my husband said; "Boba Fett DOES have an EE-3 blaster rifle, but THAT is not a blaster rifle!") again, this is a beautiful book. The life-size poster of BB-8 is as cool as it sounds! and if you don't mind some information being very slightly off, then I recommend this book. But if you are a true Star Wars fan, and and if it is important to you to have every little detail be COMPLETELY accurate, then do not get this book. You will only be frustrated! I still give this book three stars. As I said, the pictures are pretty cool, and my son loves to flip through and just look at them. :-)
